Position Opening at Owen Electric Cooperative
Minimum requirements required include High School diploma or equivalent; associates degree in business, management, or a related field, preferred. This position provides the President/CEO and the Board of Directors with efficient performance of administrative duties assigned, and to represent the President/CEO in his absence in a professional, tactful manner.
Successful candidates must be:
Proficient in the use of desktop publishing, Excel, Power Point, word processing and database software. Must be well organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and duties simultaneously. Must be skilled in communications and positive employee and board of director relations. Must be able to work collaboratively with the CEO, Department Heads, directors, and other employees. Must possess thorough knowledge of cooperative policies and procedures. Must demonstrate good judgment in responding to employee and board of director requests and concerns. Must demonstrate a
high degree confidentiality. Shall possess a valid Kentucky drivers’ license. Position located at the cooperative’s headquarters office North of Owenton, Kentucky.
